They also emphasize the need to preserve parrots in their natural habitat before it gets too late and this emblematic creature of tropical forests and island paradises becomes nothing more than a sad wall ornament.

This book (available only in French) was co-written by two old friends: Anne Boisset, known to us all, and Marie-José Correau, veterinarian doctor. Doctor Philippe de Wailly, renowned veterinarian and member of the American Veterinary Historical Society and ex-president of the Académie vétérinaire de France, wrote the foreword.
