The ASAP is now a sanctuary authorised by the Ligue de Protection des Oiseaux (LPO)

 

The ASAP is now a sanctuary authorised by the Bird Protection League (LPO, in French).

Established in 1912, the LPO has the objective of "[…] protecting birds and the ecosystems on which they depend and, in particular, the flora and fauna associated with them […]".

 

In June 2004, the ASAP obtained an LPO accreditation to become a REFUGE-LPO Bird sanctuary.
