The centre operates exclusively on its own resources and thanks to the regular donations of its members and donors. The daily costs of sustaining a parrot is a minimum of 1.50 Euros; that is, 550 Euros per bird per year depending on the species. If the longevity of a parrot is very extended (i.e., several decades), our involvement must be as sustainable.

The parrots are cared for by skilled staff in a building accredited by the prefecture. They are given the best food possible: a mix of high-quality grains and different fruits and vegetables. The birds are constantly monitored and the entire building complex is under electronic surveillance, automatically heated and lit by a photo-electric system.
